Let's Get To Know Each Other - Let's Repurpose!!!!

Hi!  I am Barbara Brown.  I hope you are all doing well today and everyday!  I am reachibng out in an attempt to get to know as many of you as are willing to let me.  My "thing" is repurposing.  Repurposing is basically recycling with a kick!  It excites me for several reasons.  I can take an item that has been used and worn out to a degree and take it and fix it up and reuse it.  Most of the time I fix things up and then someone else who needs it buys it and they use it.  I have a gift of being able to look at something that is worn out and almost broken or even broken and be able to visualize that item being cleaned and repaired and visualizing what it looks like when that is done.  I can visualize the amazing difference a little time, effort and love makes.  It is quite rewarding for me.  People are shocked when they see the before and after for items that I have repurposed!  I want to inspire others to be able to do the same thing that I do.  Go to the second hand store or buy something on line that is used and needs some love.  Then take a little time and visualize that item with a coat of paint, or some wood glue, or stain and what that item will look like when it is spruced up and in use. Join me on my repurposing journey.  We can save a few trees, we can help to produce less plastics, which are very difficult to decompose in landfills.  We can help a less fortunate family to have items they could not afford to purchase new to have those items for themselves and their family. We can help to do less importing from other countries for necessaties in life.  You get the idea.  Repurposing is beneficial to everyone in all ways.  I can not think of anything negative in terms of repurposing.
